October -December: The kindergarteners have been working on:
-Identifying letters, words, sentences
-recognizing rhyming words 
-learning the difference between fiction and nonfiction
-identifying books that are nonfiction (have facts) and fiction (made up stories)
*In December, kindergarten students will be able to start taking home two books, including non-fiction!

​August-September:  Kindergarten students will be working hard getting to know the Library!  They will work on:

• ​​ listening/following directions
• Library procedures
• book care
• sequencing
• alphabet book
• counting books
• Novel Effect (app soundscapes)
